Soreption is a technical death metal band from Sundsvall, Västernorrlands län, Sweden. Formed in 2005, they are best known for their fast melodies and sharp riffs.

After four successful tours across the country and a small handful of West Coast tours, the band has become a veritable headliner without ever having proper distribution or a significant record label to help finance and back tours. As luck would have it, they will start yet another five-week trek directly following their upcoming CD release show at Blue Lamp.

Asked whose idea it was to perform Fear Factorys classic classic 1995 sophomore album, “Demanufacture”, on the band’s Australian tour, Burton C. Bell told The Rockpit: “It was kinda like a joke at first. Last time we were there for ‘The Industrialist’ on tour, we were playing a lot of tracks from ‘Demanufacture’, and we just thought, ‘Why don’t we just play the whole damn record?’ and the promoter was, like, ‘Oh, that’s actually a great idea.
The tour will run in two parts featuring some of our favorite bands from each genre. On Part I (10/01 – 10/24) thrash masters Iron Reagan will provide the circle pits at maximum velocity,Harms Way will bring their brutally heavy style of hardcore, and opening act Maruta will set the tone for the night with their brand of death metal grindcore.
The Graveshadow sound is defined by crushing guitars, soaring keyboard melodies, thundering bass, and earth shattering drums. Powerful operatic vocals shift into unearthly growls to create a rich and dynamic atmosphere that is ripe for storytelling. Whether it is a tale of personal struggle or of fantastical creatures, the listeners are sure to find themselves immersed in a world apart.
