Bay Area thrash titans EXODUS are celebrating Blood In, Blood Out’s stellar Top 40 Billboard debut with the release of their brand new music video for the title track ‘Blood In, Blood Out’, directed by Shan Dan Horan of the Shadow Born Group (Buckcherry, Carnifex, Winds of Plague). The video features hundreds of dedicated Bay Area fans that came out in droves to perform as extras in the video after a wide casting call.
Los Angeles hardcore act Terror released their new album, ‘Live by the Code,’ last year via Victory Records. Today, the band has teamed up with Revolver to premiere their new music video for “Cold Truth.”
Frontman Scott Vogel said, “How many times can you make a video of us jumping around acting all mad at the world? I’m sure we’ll have a few more of those down the road, but this is a totally different, unexpected, and a fresh look for a Terror video, and that’s a cool thing. Thanks to Carlo and everyone behind putting this thing together because, to be honest, we got off extra easy and didn’t have to do any of those really uncomfortable video shoots and nonsense. Plus, now we have a video with hookers, handfuls of pills, and dead rats in it.”
Hoods is a hardcore punk band from Sacramento, California. Formed in 1994 by Mike (Hood) Mraz who later added Logan Murray, Tony Goodloe and Billy Gaffney. Hoods shows influences such as Madball, Sick of It All,Minor Threat and Cro-Mags. They released their first EP entitled Once Again in 1996 and concentrated on live performances. After numerous fights between fans and an altercation between a couple of the band members and a police officer, the band was more or less forced out of the Sacramento area. The band concentrated efforts on the San Francisco Bay Area playing shows with groups such as Powerhouse, Redemption 87 and Skin Lab. In 1997 after a disagreement with bandmates and his mother’s illness Gaffney left and was replaced by Jeremy. Murray and Goldoe then left and were replaced by Ben and Mario. Mike was the only original member left. The Hoods were dropped from Victory Records.
