Infernal Tyrant is a two-man Georgia, USA based power thrash project formed in 2022 by Metal Thrashing Mike. What started as a one-man solo project became a duo when Mike contacted his former singer Billy Lynn of Malviant to join him for metallic madness.

The music of Infernal Tyrant is rooted in thrash with generous amounts of power and speed metal twin guitar harmonies thrown in for excitement. Billy’s vocals add a new layer of excitement for anyone who enjoys more melodic singing while still being heavy with massive amounts of aggression.

First off for a two-man thrash metal band they put in all the work! Billy for the only backup singer in a thrash metal band took us to church. His range blew me away. He let you know he was there. The way he went from tenor to bass in one smooth motion is breathtaking.

Now Mike. His talent. He definitely knows how to play the drums. he’s a heavy hitter. His solos are on point to where you can’t tell if it’s the bass or not. his lead guitar skills are amazingly smooth.

I felt myself headbanging while laying down listening to them. His solo tones are incredible and on point. I can feel his bass heavy in my ears that tells me if it was live, I’d feel it in my chest.

When they are all together it’s very smooth and very spectacular. His vocals remind me of old school underground thrash metal and that’s hard to find these days. He has that gruffly singing and scraggly growl which is really cool. I can see major head banging and thrash pits in the crowds.
