For over 30 years, Long Island’s INTERNAL BLEEDING has endured betrayal, tragedy, and endless setbacks. But instead of breaking them, these trials forged one of the most relentless forces in extreme music. Now, with their seventh full-length album, Settle All Scores, INTERNAL BLEEDING returns more vicious than ever—ready to level everything in their path.
Known for pioneering the “slam” genre with their debut Voracious Contempt, the band helped shape the underground with their unique blend of death metal brutality, NYHC grooves, and hip hop swagger. From the crushing weight of The Extinction Of Benevolence to the complex chaos of Imperium and Corrupting Influence, each release has pushed boundaries while staying true to their core. Settle All Scores is no exception—it’s INTERNAL BLEEDING at their rawest, angriest, and most refined.
The current lineup—Steve Worley (vocals), Chris McCarthy (guitar/vocals), Chris Pervelis (guitar), Kyle Eddy (drums), and Ryan Giordano (bass)—delivers eight new tracks that channel decades of rage into pure sonic destruction. This is personal. This is payback.
Produced by the band and sonically obliterated by Taylor Young at The Pit Studio (Nails, God’s Hate), with mastering by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege (Obituary, Creeping Death), Settle All Scores sounds as fierce as its intent. The album features cover art by Mark Richards (Heavy Hand Illustration) and guest vocals from Sherwood Webber (Skinless), Mikey Petroski (Never Ending Game), and former IB vocalists Joe Marchese, Jay Lowe, and Frank Rini.
Of the title track, founding guitarist Chris Pervelis explains: “Nearly everyone can relate to wanting revenge. ‘Settle All Scores’ is the soundtrack for your vengeance. It blends my ‘70s/’80s-inspired riffs with McCarthy’s mid-‘90s/2000s style—and it just works.” Guitarist Chris McCarthy adds: “Revenge is better than any drug you could consume, and ‘Settle All Scores’ is the Heroic Dose.”
