Some crazy robot at Pandora says:
“Features Hard Rock roots, a subtle use of vocal harmony, mild rhythmic syncopation, varying tempo and time signatures, and minor key tonality.”

Fans say:
“Bluesy alt-rock with soulful vocals and gritty guitar work. There’s touches of Seattle grunge on these grooves but mixed up with more than a spoonful of delta blues magic.” – FDJ, Canvey Island, UK

“Love the singer’s voice – Contemporary Ozzyish (especially when doubled in the choruses). Guitar riffs are super hooky, and the rhythm section is tight as F*#K! Really dope stuff – just bad ass rock n roll/hard rock.” – Rick K., West Lake Village, CA

“BAD ASS…A solid original band that is a must see again!”- Timothy B, unsuspecting fan

Media says:
“This band has great song writing ability and a southern swagger that defines them as a whole…This is a high energy rock band that loves to play great riffs.” – Evor Entertainment

New Coal Chamber Video Interview‏ In Sacramento

Coal Chamber Screen

Adam Kirk of Capital Chaos TV chats with Coal Chamber guitarist Miguel Rascón 03/09/13 @ Ace Of Spades – Sacramento, California

Coal Chamber is an American nu metal band formed in Los Angeles, California, in 1993.[1] Prior to Coal Chamber, Dez Fafara and Meegs Rascón formed the band She’s In Pain in 1992. The two decided to create Coal Chamber. They disbanded in 2003 after ten years together, but announced a reunion in September 2011. Their first drummer, Jon Tor, was eventually replaced by Mike Cox (who beat out his older brother for the spot). After bass guitarist Rayna Foss joined, the Coal Chamber lineup was complete.

In 1997, their first album Coal Chamber was released. The album produced one single and a video, “Loco”. The video was also added as an extra after the ending credits of Dee Snider’s film Strangeland. The band also recorded an exclusive song for the soundtrack titled “Not Living”.

Chamber Music followed two years later. Between the two releases and after the band’s tour with the metal act Sevendust, bass guitarist Rayna Foss married Sevendust’s drummer Morgan Rose and became pregnant, necessitating another bass guitar player on tour, a role filled by Nadja Peulen.

Foss came back for the recording of Coal Chamber’s third album, but left after the studio sessions to raise her daughter. Dark Days was released in spring 2002. Their only single and video was for the track “Fiend”

Suicide Silence is an American deathcore band from Riverside, California. Formed in 2002, the band has released four full-length studio albums, one EP and eleven music videos. They have received a fair amount of praise, being awarded the Revolver Golden God award for “Best New Talent” in 2009. The group currently consists of vocalist Hernan “Eddie” Hermida, guitarists Chris Garza and Mark Heylmun, bassist Dan Kenny and drummer Alex Lopez.

Suicide Silence were founded in 2002 in Riverside, California, and were at that time, a side project of many of the members of other groups. The band performed their first show at a local area within Riverside and at that time, the line-up consisted of the members Chris Garza and Rick Ash as guitarists, Mike Bodkins as bassist, Josh Goddard as drummer and two vocalists, Mitch Lucker and Tanner Womack. Shortly after their first performance, Womack was fired from the band and they released their first demo the following year. They released their second demo in 2004. By the proceeding year, the members took the band more seriously and were no-longer deemed as a side project, they would then advance to record their third and final demo in 2006 after the band recorded and released their first public studio quality material entitled, Suicide Silence EP which was released through Third Degree Records and later re-released in the UK through the English label In at the Deep End Records. Drummer, Josh Goddard departed from the band in 2006 and was replaced by Alex Lopez who was the former guitarist for the bands Blacheart Eulogy and The Funeral Pyre before his joining.
