Clay Busch, Vice President of Marketing – Danny Wimmer Presents

I remember being invited to The Roxy because I ‘had to’ see this band from Texas many years ago. They were the first of 5. I had no expectations. And I was blown away. I immediately came back to the office and told the team this is a band that the company needs to get behind. They had their breakthrough moment at Monster Energy Aftershock 2013 and it’s only fitting to premiere ‘Go To War’ from their upcoming sophomore release together.”

Jonny Hawkins of Nothing More commented:

“There’s no such thing as overnight success but there are defining moments. For us, that moment was Aftershock 2013. I can still feel my feet boiling from the sun-drenched, black stage. I still remember my heart pounding from the energy of the crowd. We were given a shot to prove ourselves in front of every label rep from the west coast as well as many bands on the festival. Sink or swim.”

‘Go To War’ is the lead single from the new Nothing More album The Stories We Tell Ourselves, set for release September 15 via Better Noise Records.

Nothing More will perform at the Monster Energy Aftershock Festival in Sacramento, California on Saturday, October 21. For more information and tour dates for the band, visit:http://nothingmore.net/. For information on Monster Energy Aftershock, visit:www.aftershockconcert.com.

Invidia To Hit The Road This Summer With Wednesday 13 And The Metal Alliance Tour

It may sound trite, but Invidia is truly a brotherhood. Each member of this brotherhood has a story that reflects the quote above. When they came together to make As The Sun Sleeps (Steamhammer/Oblivion/SPV), they knew just what they didn’t want and how far they were willing to go to make it work on their terms. INVIDIA features current members of Five Finger Death Punch and Skinlab.

Recently Invidia announced the addition of Evan Seidlitz as the newest member of the band, replacing vocalist Travis Johnson. Seidlitz is no stranger to the frontman spotlight, known for his work in VYCES, Thrown Into Exile and Grimace. The band is very excited to be on this new journey with Seidlitz and has no doubts that fans will be pleased with what he has to bring to the table.

Hot on the heels of the release of their debut As The Sun Sleeps, Invidia are set to return to the road this summer first in support of Wednesday 13 through July. Then following a quick break the band will devastate the nation again as part of the Metal Alliance Tour alongside Overkill, Crowbar, Havok and Black Fast. A complete list of all dates can be found below.

Bassist Matt Snell cannot wait to get back out on the road with Invidia:

“When offered the Wednesday 13 tour we were thrilled… for us it’s a total 90 degree turn and a unique challenge as a band. We are all fans of Wednesday 13, and we know we have the goods… its just time to deliver! Get your creepy on!”

He continues:

“The Metal Alliance tour is yet another dream come true for us. Having opened for Overkill myself when I was just a kid in River Grove IL, in 1994, I can only hope to have the Overkill guys sign my tour flyer from that show. But more important for us as a band is the significance of festivals that stray just enough from the mainstream to remind us all that music is art!”

Travis Johnson of Invidia & In This Moment Interviewed in Sacramento, California

Travis talks about his current and former bands, his passion for singing, benefits of finger playing the bass guitar, vices of the past, the brotherhood created between bands on tour, favorite White Knuckle Riot song and more with Iron Serbian @ The Boardwalk in Orangevale, California When perusing the lineup of Invidia and recognizing the names of current and former members of In This Moment, Five Finger Death Punch and Skinlab you might think you have the band figured out. You don’t. While the ten-legged Las Vegas based wrecking crew certainly bring elements of their other bands to Invidia’s sound this is a beast that stands apart, and their debut As The Sun Sleeps makes this very fucking clear. “While what we’re doing is still ‘metal’ there were no rules when we started this band,” says vocalist Travis Johnson, who formerly fronted Flatline and currently handles bass duties for In This Moment. “The mixing of ideas and styles worked for us because we let it, and every song is different from the last.

Not having to ‘stay in the box and write the same stuff everyone already likes’ was pure gold, and an exhilarating opportunity for us all.” While a core sound unites the tracks across the record under the watchful eye of producer/manager Logan Mader (Once Human, Machine Head), the band gleefully crash through sub-genre walls, embracing everything from industrial sludge to Bay Area thrash, a boot placed firmly up the ass of everything they do. “Of course we set out to make a killer record, but what made it so unique was the way everyone worked together. We all trust Logan without question, we all knew him or had worked with him previously. It was a really positive, comfortable environment to create in, so the music just evolved really fast but at the same time smoothly, and it was a fun, exciting experience.”

The Alpha Complex is a 5 piece hard rock / metal band based out of Sacramento, Ca. The band features Michael “Angel” Woodruff as the vocalist who is best known for his work in Motograter.

The Alpha Complex started in September 2012 with Michael Woodruff (Relevent, Motograter, Riven) being the founding member. All Together Music partnered with the band immediately as they had previously managed Riven. The first member to join Woodruff was Steven Samora, who co-wrote “Til The End” in the songs early stages. The two split ways shortly after. Austin Kennedy joined the band and within a week they had written 6 songs and recruited Kery Glennon (Relevent) to the line up. The trio wrote the remainder of the album over the period of the next two months. Bassist Brian Barnard was added to the line up after responding to the band’s ad on craigslist. Kery and Michael attended the 2013 Monster Energy Drink Aftershock Festival in Sacramento, Ca. There they found drummer Martin Bechtel during a chance side stage meeting during Love & Death’s set. The band’s line up was completed in September 2013, one year after it’s inception.

The Alpha Complex played their first show on December 21, 2013 in Modesto, Ca at The Fat Cat. The show was headlined by hometown heroes Better Left Unsaid. It was also the first ALL AGES show ever held at The Fat Cat. On May 11, 2014 TAC and All Together Music split ways. All Together Music was quoted in saying “Unfortunately, ATM and The Alpha Complex have parted ways! We wish the band the best in their future! The band is a hard working independent band who doesn’t need management at this time.” via ATM’s Facebook page. Shortly after on May 17, 2014 The Alpha Complex was announced as one of the bands to play the V103 Rockfest to be held on October 4, 2014. The festival would include a number of Northern California bands as well a surprise national headliner for the first time. The Alpha Complex’s debut album “GENERATE” was released May 23, 2014 at The Boardwalk in Orangevale, Ca. The show featured national bands Powerman 5000, 9 Electric, and DEDVOLT as well as local favorites FALLRISE. TAC filmed a live music video for their song “Never Again” at the show. On May 24, 2014 the group shot another music video in Jackson, Ca.
