Produced by Al Jourgensen, recorded at Caribou Studios in Burbank, CA and with striking artwork created by Mister Sam Shearon, the psychedelic, politically influenced and very much in-your-face AmeriKKKant’s nine tracks are rooted in Jourgensen’s unadulterated anger for what’s happening in America today: the waning respect for the U.S. Constitution, the growing acceptance of one’s opinions replacing facts, the decline of our leaders’ sense of morals, ethics and personal responsibility to the country and to their constituents, and the mad man in the White House.

For decades, the powerhouse of psychotic sound that is MINISTRY has overcome millions with releases such as Filth Pig, The Mind Is A Terrible Thing To Taste, Psalm 69, From Beer To Eternity, and a flood of others. Since the 80s, founder Al Jourgensen, has been combining elements of synth pop, punk, metal and even dub in a way that is instantly recognizable and has influenced many other bands.

MINISTRY releases “Twilight Zone” music video.

Today, MINISTRY releases a surreal and provocative new music video for the track ‘Twilight Zone’ from the band’s upcoming album, AmeriKKKant, due out March 9 (Nuclear Blast). Building upon the themes of the song, the ‘Twilight Zone’ video takes the viewer on a macabre excursion through the current U.S. news media climate of misinformation, corporate propaganda and hypocritical slander.

“We are in completely uncharted territory now,” said MINISTRY’s Al Jourgensen“witnessing the unraveling of what was once a functional democracy. Our government is under attack. Our planet is under attack. It’s time for a major reboot.”

The video was filmed last December just outside of Los Angeles and features MINISTRY guitarists Sin Quirin and Cesar SotoTony Campos (FEAR FACTORY, STATIC X) on bass, keyboardist John Bechdel (KILLING JOKE, FEAR FACTORY), live scratcher DJ Swamp (BECK, THE CRYSTAL METHOD), and Derek Abrams on drums. Guest appearances are made by Gray Wolf, President of American Indian Movement (AIM), the internationally renowned and idiosyncratic Lord of the Cello, and an army of MINISTRY supporters who participated in the band’s PledgeMusic AmeriKKKant pre-order campaign.

The ‘Twilight Zone’ video was produced by Chris Roth and Steve Roth for The Other House production company, the same group that produced Jourgensen’s previous music video, ‘I’m Invisible’ for his 2016 SURGICAL METH MACHINE release. Chris Roth also directed the ‘Twilight Zone’ video with Steve Roth as Director of Photography and editor. The Other House has produced a wide array of broadcast design projects for Revolt TV, Nike’s Kobe 8 System, MTV, Aol.RISE, the Syfy Network, VH-1, CNN, PBS, “The Profit” on CNBC, the 2017 Emmy Awards and many more.

Said Chris Roth“I’m a life-long fan of the band and very politically active. Not only was this an opportunity to collaborate creatively once again with the one and only Al Jourgensen, but also an outlet for much of my pent up aggression and frustration regarding the current state of politics in our country.”

Dopesick Featuring Former Skinlab and Ministry Members – Release Music Video for “Ride The Night” featuring Jahred Gomez of HED P.E.

Oakland, CA punk/hard rock outfit DOPESICK is a fresh name for many, but the band’s members charge forward with quite the resume behind them. DOPESICK frontman/guitarist Adam Albright originally formed the band nearly two decades ago with the intention of touring while still performing with Bay Area post-thrash band Skinlab, but this dream was abruptly cut short by a prison sentence.

After being released from prison and joining a brief Skinlab reunion, Albright decided to launch the first incarnation of DOPESICK (a term he learned from a cellmate in prison). The band cut their teeth for several years by gigging relentlessly in the Bay Area and releasing an EP in 2002, Vendetta, produced by Skinlab’s Scott Sargeant. After some personal conflicts with other members and more time off for Albright while touring with Sebastian Bach’s solo project (and penning the title track for his 2007 album Angel Down), DOPESICK seemed to be on hold indefinitely. Fast forward to 2016: Albright recently enlisted drummer Aaron Rossi (Ministry, Prong) and bassist Mandi Martyr (Ministry) to play on the upcoming DOPESICK release – and this time it’s sticking.

To give listeners a taste of what to expect from DOPESICK, the band has revealed the brand new music video for “Ride The Night”, the first single from their upcoming album The Love and Terror Cult set for release this winter. Featuring Jahred Gomez of (HED) P.E., the track is a cool summer party banger – mixing reggae vibes and metal hooks

“I had this song in mind for a minute… the whole time I was thinking Jarhed would klll it,”states Adam Albright on working with Gomez. “I sent him the basic stuff, he sliced n’ diced and it, and it came back sick! The video was easy – Jahred flew into LA very early. We started smoking and shooting in Venice Beach and wound up at The Rainbow in Hollywood! The filming was super cool, a lot of fun… and I did NOT go to jail!”
The “Ride The Night” video was directed and edited by Matt Zane (Wayne Static, John 5,Orgy). The track on the video was mixed by Eddie Wohl (AnthraxFuel, Ill Nino) and mastered by Augustus Cryns (Stitched Up Heart, The Dead Rabbitts, The Academy Is).

DOPESICK is currently finishing recording with Patrick Burkholder at Pawnshop Studio in Van Nuys, CA. Pre-orders for The Love and Terror Cult will be available soon! Stay tuned for more new music coming from DOPESICK this summer and fall.
