The relentless blackened thrash of Skeletonwitch has made the band a staple of the modern metal touring circuit. Known for their blistering live sets and uncompromising sound, the Ohio metal outfit continues to gain momentum following the release of Serpents Unleashed.
During February 14th stop @ Regency Ballroom – San Francisco on their current tour with Amon Amarth and Enslaved, Todd Owens of Capital Chaos TV caught up with Skeletonwitch bassist Evan Linger to talk about sold-out shows, working with Kurt Ballou of Converge, touring with legends like Danzig, and the band’s plans for the future.
With sold-out shows, a well-received album in Serpents Unleashed, and new tours already in the works, Skeletonwitch continues to push forward with relentless momentum. For bassist Evan Linger and the rest of the band, the mission remains simple: write powerful music, deliver crushing live shows, and keep the metal community engaged wherever the road leads next.
