Mike & Aaron of Darkest Hour share their thoughts on crowdfunding backers, working with all of their different record producers and the positives of working with Victory Records with Iron Serbian of Capital Chaos TV during their most recent Sacramento stop @ Starlite Lounge.
Darkest Hour’s ninth album and Southern Lord Recordings’ debut, Godless Prophets & The Migrant Flora, debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Heatseekers’ chart and at #4 on the magazine’s Hard Music chart.
“We couldn’t be more thankful to all our Indiegogo backers and those of you who pre-ordered and picked up this new album,” said Darkest Hour of the crowd-funded album. “Without the faith of those who took the plunge to initially fund this album it would not exist, you know who you are, thank you, we did it!
The band wraps up their U.S. tour this evening with a performance at the Northside Yacht Club in Cincinnati. Darkest Hour kicks off a European outing on April 16 in Austria.
