In the video below Robert Vigna of Immolation talks 2018 tour plans, the current state of death metal, the old days of tape trading, zines and more with Iron Serbian of Capital Chaos TV
On the current women coming forward about sexual harassment and assault climate….
“I’m definitely not oblivious to it, its like wildfire now, stuff like that happens, at least now it’s starting to come out, you know what I mean. Obviously its not a good thing, its a crazy..that particular industry seems to be right now, alot of its in the entertainment industry, its a crazy industry. Alot of whats coming out right now is in the Hollywood industry, the big boys ya know. it is what it is. You’re going to have to atone for those sins for sure, no doubt about that.”
On 2018 tour plans…
“We are probably looking to do possibly another support one early next year and then probably for our 30th anniversary we’re planning on doing something towards the end of the year, hopefully here and in Europe to kind of like go through like a headline tour kind of celebrating the 30th anniversary. That’s the plan right now.”
New York death metal giants, Immolation, are pleased to announce they will be touring the United States again this November in support of their critically acclaimed release, Atonement.
“We are very excited to announce that we will be hitting the road here in the States in November,” commented vocalist/bassist Ross Dolan. “We will be supporting the legendary Mayhem from Norway, and along with Black Anvil, we are looking forward to bringing a show that’s extreme and dark to all the fans. It is an honor for us to be sharing the stage with the band that truly pioneered the Norwegian Black Metal scene and can’t wait to get out there once again! See you all in November!”
