The Defiants have announced their return with a new album, their third overall, “Drive”! Formed by Paul Laine, Bruno Ravel, and Rob Marcello, who are all current or former members of popular hard rockers Danger Danger, The Defiants latest opus is yet another impeccable slice of melodic hard rock.
First off: I get an early 80s, 90s vibe and I am so here for it.. I can definitely see me and my girls seeing them on a girls night out and they are so easy on the eyes which is a plus!! Singer Paul Lane has an amazing vocal range. I am impressed by how he can go from bass to tenor all in one swoop.
Bruno is the man for being able to play bass, guitar and keyboard all at once. I am always amazed when someone can do that. It takes a lot of talent. Rob and his guitar solos, I can listen to him all day, and nobody else. His solos blow me away..
And what can I say about Van, his drumming is strong, he holds the band together really well. I must say I have found a new band to add to my playlist.. These guys are incredible.
