WARDRUNA Announces North American Tour in Support of Acclaimed Album Birna

Following the release of their critically acclaimed new album Birna (listen here), Nordic folk pioneers Wardruna have unveiled the dates for their long-awaited North American tour, bringing their immersive, ritualistic sound to audiences across the continent.

Tickets are on sale at links below and via Wardruna.com, with shows scheduled at iconic venues including Los Angeles’ Greek Theatre, New York’s Beacon Theatre, and Toronto’s Massey Hall. Special guest Chelsea Wolfe will join the tour on all dates except Los Angeles.

This North American leg extends Wardruna’s expansive world tour, which has already brought the band to awe-inspiring natural and historic venues. Highlights include upcoming first-time performances in Spain and Portugal, as well as appearances at Germany’s Summer Breeze Open Air and Romania’s Rockstadt Extreme Fest. Wardruna is also set to headline Fire in the Mountains Festival in Montana (July 25–27).

Known for performing in extraordinary settings—from the Odeon of Herodes Atticus at the Acropolis in Athens to Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre—Wardruna continues to offer audiences deeply moving, site-specific experiences where music meets myth and landscape.

Upcoming highlights include a special performance at Wrocław’s UNESCO World Heritage Site, Centennial Hall, and a landmark concert at the legendary Amphitheatre of Pompeii.
