Blood-soaked and riff-heavy, MORBIKON—the blackened death/thrash force led by Phil “Landphil” Hall (Municipal Waste, Cannabis Corpse) and Mathias “Vreth” Lillmåns (Finntroll, …And Oceans)—return with their sophomore full-length, Lost Within The Astral Crypts, arriving November 21st on Tankcrimes.
The opening track, “Heavens That Burn And Eons Divided,” is now streaming. Hall describes the album as “some of my darkest material yet… soaked in classic ’90s underground blasphemy,” calling the lead single a fitting gateway into the album’s warped, melodic black metal universe.
The record features contributions from drummer Pierce Williams (Aenigmatum, ex-Skeletal Remains), guitarist Adam Gilliams (Cannabis Corpse), Black Hibberd (Unburier) on guest solos, synth by Thomas Saltman, and lyrics assisted by Quotidius.
