When it comes to crafting cosmic riffs and mythic soundscapes, Nashville’s Howling Giant has made a name for themselves as one of the most exciting bands in modern heavy music. With their upcoming album Crucible and Ruin dropping this Halloween, we caught up with bassist Sebastian Baltes — son of Peter Baltes, the legendary former bassist of Accept — to talk about musical roots, recording challenges, and finding his own voice in the shadow of metal history.
