Blind Illusion celebrated the release of their live album, Stage Flight: Live at the UC Theatre, on Friday, October 16, at Neck of the Woods in San Francisco. The band marked the occasion with a ferocious performance, putting their musicianship front and center and holding nothing back.

From the moment Blind Illusion took the stage, fans moved in close, eager to catch the action. The audience stayed engaged throughout the performance, rocking out, capturing videos, and sharing moments from the night on social media.

Vocalist Mark Merritt delivered a standout performance, bringing vocal power and a commanding presence to the stage. Guitarists Mark Biedermann and Martin Lacour tore into killer riffs, supplying plenty of the evening’s firepower. Biedermann’s energy extended beyond his playing as he rocked his way across the stage, giving fans as much to watch as to hear.

Avery Thurman matched that intensity on bass, thrashing away alongside Phil Cosentini’s driving drum work. Together, they provided a forceful foundation for the guitars and vocals. Each musician brought something distinct to the performance, but the band’s chemistry made the full lineup shine.

For a night celebrating a live record, Blind Illusion let their onstage performance do the talking. With powerful vocals, ripping guitars, a hard-driving rhythm section, and an audience eager to take it all in, their Neck of the Woods show was a fitting celebration of Stage Flight.
