Fallujah was founded in early 2007 by high school friends Alex Hofmann, Scott Carstairs, Tommy Logan, Dan Wissinger, and Suliman Arghandiwal. Their first show was on June 15, 2007 in Walnut Creek, California. Their first four songs released were “Tyrant”, “Verdict”, “Schleicher” and “Infidel” as demos.
Serpent Crown plays metal that is largely in your face, with thick riffs, searing solos, and pummeling rhythms..straightforward and crafted for head banging.
As most of you know, Sacramento has all come together for a Memorial Benefit for The Valdez Family in memory of Sally Nava on Friday, July 17th at The Starlite Lounge in downtown Sacramento. Sally is the mother of our dear friend Randall (Randy) Valdez, who was a native of the Sacramento area and great friend to many of us in the music scene. Randy passed away in August 2010, his mother Sally passed away in April of this year. When Randy passed, he left behind three children, two of which went to live with Sally. This benefit was to support them in any way we can.

The Anthropocene Extinction is the forthcoming seventh studio album by American deathgrind band Cattle Decapitation and is scheduled for release on August 7, 2015 on Metal Blade Records
The last record, Monolith of Inhumanity, dealt with future of Earth, if mankind keep its current style of life. The Anthropocene Extinction now deals with the results of mankind’s influence on the environment, such as the Great Pacific garbage patch.
