NOTHING: Debut “I Hate The Flowers” Video

NOTHING have unveiled new video “I Hate The Flowers” directed by Matt Newman. The single, written by frontman Domenic Palermo and Brandon Setta, is a love song about NYC and the strong sense of impending doom it leaves on you as you exit your apartment. Its title is a nod to the agoraphobic anthem by Strawberry Switchblade’s “Trees and Flowers” but also a sequel to the band’s “Vertigo Flowers” which appeared on 2016’sTired of Tomorrow. Palermo notes “I’ve been referring to humans as flowers since the earliest days of NOTHING for their beautifully sad and their literal life/death cycle is so relatable.”

Exmortus premiere “Feast Of Flesh” Music Video

The thirst and hunger for blood is never quenched! Prepare for “Feast Of Flesh!” The savage new shredder from EXMORTUS! Watch the official music video streaming below.

Exmortus

On the concept behind the track, EXMORTUS founder, vocalist and guitarist, Conan tells LA Weekly: As some may have noticed on my personal page, I don’t just post guitar or band stuff, but a lot of food pictures and I’m no vegan. ‘Feast of Flesh’ is a celebration of our carnal needs and desires. I’m not trying to make any political/environmental statements but I feel this song expresses the ugly and brutal nature of humans and other animals. It ain’t pretty so we thought it would be fun to shoot the band chowing down on actual raw flesh fresh from the meat market. My girlfriend was willing to play the hapless victim of the carnage, which made the whole experience quite fun and yet funny since we were all trying to act and not laugh at the whole idea. The song itself is more of a caveman stompy headbanger so the music works beautifully with the lyrics and visuals in bloody harmony. So, sit back and enjoy the Feast of Flesh! Cheers!

At The Gates Release new single and video for “Daggers Of Black Haze“!

WATCH the video for “Daggers Of Black Haze” — created by Costin Chioreanu / Twilight 13 Media (who was also in charge of the album’s artwork concept)– below.

AT THE GATES frontman Tomas Lindberg comments on the track as follows:
Daggers of Black Haze” represents the more progressive side of the new record. It has a lot of reference-points to our early back catalogue, both style wise, and the emotional setting. It is desperate and urgent, but still melancholic and epic. It is conceptually one of the cornerstones of the album. Driving home the point of the need for a war on apathy and the populistic forces that takes advantage of it. This is a fight against the abyss. A beacon for the importance of real art, real forms of expression, and importance of our understanding of our mutual cultural history. The video was filmed by Costin Chioreanu once again, and it is full of symbolism and heavy on the conceptual side. Costin displays the war for art and the importance of standing up to the oppressive powers and paradigms with his film. It is beautiful, striking, melancholic and I am very happy to see his vision of my concept.

White Wizzard Release New Video For Infernal Overdrive

This Friday, January 12th, marks the release of the new album from White Wizzard. Today Decibel is pleased to premiere the lyric video to the album’s heavy metal title track, “Infernal Overdrive”.  Watch the lyric video below.

No automatic alt text available.

Fans have long anticipated the return full-length from traditional metal heroes White Wizzard, who revamped their lineup last year to include the return of their strongest players to date, vocalist Wyatt “Screaming Demon” Anderson and guitarist James J. LaRue. Reviews have been overly positive and critics are recognizing the band firing on all cylinders by not only bringing back all of their expected true metal ingredients but flavoring this hour-plus ride with an expanded repertoire of moods and influences citing comparisons to Rush, Led Zeppelin and Metallica on certain tracks, all highlighted by the group’s seasoned musicianship and proper album production, courtesy of Ralph Patlan (Megadeth, UFO).
“We’re very excited to release yet another song from our new album via this lyric video created by LaRue. The lyrics are a bit of a sarcastic comment on modern times… as we watch technology and idiocy fuse together for one entertaining ride as humanity circles the drain into the abyss!” explains Jon Leon. “We bring it a bit heavier here and Wyatt sings his ass off on this one.”
“We are really proud of the new album and super excited to finally share it with the fans. We’re doing a special run of shows starting Wednesday and are super excited to announce that Devil’s Cut axe grinder Will Willner will be joining us on second guitar live. He complements LaRue perfectly and it’s a very strong tandem!
Next up, White Wizzard just shot a proper promo video for a more epic track, “Chasing Dragons,” so keep an eye out for that.
Infernal Overdrive, the band’s fourth full-length, will be released on all digital platforms, as well as CD and gatefold double colored vinyl (orange haze retail version or white exclusive from the band & label). Order now at www.m-theoryaudio.com/store

Cavalera Conspiracy Premiere Video For ‘Spectral War’

Bow your heads down to the Cavalera brothers, and a heavy release day to the thrash metal legends! Today the brand new album ‘Psychosis‘ by CAVALERA CONSPIRACY has been released on Napalm Records, but to celebrate this very special day, the band has now also unleashed an official music video for the track ‘Spectral War‘!

Says Max Cavalera:
Our new video “Spectral War” was directed by the great tattoo artist, Paul Booth. It focuses on the idea of manipulating war through the ages! I’m very excited for the release of “Psychosis!” Death/Thrash Metal is back to set the world on fire!!!”

The brothers Max and Iggor Cavalera formed the legendarily trailblazing heavy metal band SEPULTURA as teenagers together in 1983. Across six studio albums the Brazilian punishers perfected the art of darkness and extreme music with thrash classics such as Beneath the RemainsArise andChaos AD, while exploring the underbelly of third world political issues and broadening the genre’s horizons with an exploration of indigenous culture, culminating with the landmark Roots album in 1996. A decade after Max left SEPULTURA and meanwhile released seven successfull records with SOULFLY, the two brothers got back together and teamed up with guitarist Marc Rizzo in 2006 to form CAVALERA CONSPIRACY: A bold testament to the talent and power this band possess together. An invigorating mixture of speed and aggression, finest thrash power and the fiercest riffage!

Psychosis‘ is the fourth installment from the most lucent export of Brazil: The Thrash Metal-masters dive deep into the mire of human panic and anxiety states. This is the soundtrack to your worst sickness, a most sinister Thrash-psychoses that rip the scabs from old wounds.

With ‘Psychosis‘ CAVALERA CONSPIRACY are able to reanimate the intensity of the good old 80s thrash, black and death metal. These brothers have outlived all the crazy eras of metal and remain more stable and frightening than ever! ‘Psychosis‘ is terrific, in the truest sense of the word. You won’t find any thrash metal on the planet that could boast more brutal!
