Profound Lore announces a collaboration with Boise, Idaho extreme metal band INFERNAL COIL for the release of the band’s debut full-length, being set for release early fall. The band is about to embark on a massive North American tour excursion next week, which sees them touring with the likes of Primitive Man, Celeste, and more.

INFERNAL COIL’s impending debut album follows the band’s 2014 demo, The Burning Prayer Of Infinite Hatred, and the follow-up EP, Bodes Set In Ashen Death. With a sound not confined to any limitations, the band’s devastating sonic aura presents itself as a lethal combination of brutal relentless atmospheric death metal mixed with the ferocity of dark dissonant grindcore, harsh noise, and dark ambient. Listeners will recognize similarities to founding guitarist/vocalist Blake Connally’s prior band, Dead In The Dirt, but don’t mistake it for a continuation. Utilizing pseudonyms within their art, Connally (Folús) is here joined by drummer Brennan Butler (Blight), and INFERNAL COIL stands on its own two feet in its artistic expression, breaking barriers we only set for ourselves.
INFERNAL COIL begins their latest, massive tour this Sunday, May 20th, when they meet up with Primitive Man in Albuquerque for the first of thirteen consecutive shows, with Celeste joining for the later half of the run, which includes a set at Northwest Terror Fest in Seattle on June 1st. From June 3rd through 14th, INFERNAL COIL and Celeste play another dozen shows through the Midwest and up the East Coast. From there, INFERNAL COIL forges on solo for another stretch into Canada, then ending the tour at Fire In The Mountains in Jackson, Wyoming with Wovenhand, Panopticon, Krallice, Wayfarer, Falls Of Rauros, Dreadnought, Velnias, and more.
