Hardcore metal hybrid ALL HAIL THE YETI recently stopped by The Fillmore in San Francisco as part of Jinjer tour, also featuring special guests Suicide Silence, in support of a new EP due out November 12 via Minus Head Records.
Opening the show at the Fillmore that night, was ALL HAIL THE YETI, to be honest I had not heard of them before other than a band from southern Cali, so I wasn’t sure what to expect.
Holy shit these guys rocked. The energy of this band was awesome, Connor Garritty (lead vocals) did a superb job with the vocals and crowd interaction, and Dave Venderlinde and Nicholas Diltz killed with on guitars, my favorite part was at the end of the song Bury your Memory (new single) the guitars and those drums by Ryan Kittlitz, I felt like I was marching into battle ha-ha. What a hell of a way to end the song.
Another of my favorite songs of that night was “The Witch is Dead, which Connor said that was about a girl he once knew (probably an ex lol), which I could totally relate to, lol. Very well-made song with a catchy chorus that I couldn’t help but jump up and down while singing along. What a hell of a way band to start the show.
