THE MARK PRICE BAND – “Shine On” (Self Released)

Led by guitarist/songwriter Mark Price, The Mark Price Band is based in Houston, Texas. Recording their 15-track debut album Shine On was an international affair, with Price recording in Texas, while Marcello Vieira (lead vocals) and Ricardo Dikk (producer, bass, guitars) both worked in Portugal, forming a rock and roll brotherhood across the Atlantic.

If me and my girls were in a country bar and they were playing, I would definitely grab my girls during the song “Never Too Old to Rock and Roll” and start line dancing and hopefully get the crowd to join us.. the reason being..

Ricardo is strong on his bass in this song and he and Mark are on point working together Mark with his guitar solo and vocals and Ricardo heavy on his bass on point.. And the drummer is a heavy hitter which works well for that song. Their chemistry seems very strong.. For the song that caught my heart is “Country State Of Mind”. Mark sings about just getting away to the open road to clear his head and soul.

I can really hear it when he sings it..He is singing with his whole soul.. There are days where I just want to do that as well.. I am a country girl at heart myself….
