Roseville Rattled: PARABELLUM Headlines Goldfield Trading Post – Concert Review & Photos

By Christopher Crone

The night kicked off with Full Metal Hippies, who wasted no time setting the tone with a raw, no-frills attack. Their energy was loose but intentional, the kind that grabs the room before people even finish their first drink. A solid opener that understood the assignment—wake everyone up and leave them wanting more.

Next up, Aether Element brought a heavier, more atmospheric approach. Tight musicianship and dynamic shifts gave their set real depth, pulling the crowd further into the night. This was a band playing with confidence and clear direction.

Black followed, delivering a darker, more aggressive presence. Their sound hit hard and stayed relentless, locking the audience in from start to finish. No wasted motion—just sharp execution and intensity.

By the time Tomb of Minerva took the stage, the room was primed. They leaned into controlled chaos, balancing heaviness with precision. Their set felt like a turning point in the night, pushing everything into high gear.

Headlining the evening was Parabellum, marking a historic first—their first time headlining Goldfield Trading Post. From the opening riff, it was clear this wasn’t just another show; it was a statement. The band played with urgency, confidence, and the unmistakable fire of a group leveling up in real time. Every song landed harder than the last, feeding off a crowd fully locked in. Adding to the significance of the night, Gary Holt was in attendance, watching from the balcony—a quiet but powerful nod from thrash royalty. Parabellum didn’t just headline; they owned the room. These guys are going places—keep your eye on this band, because moments like this are how legacies begin.
