SacAnime to return to the Sacramento valley for a Labor Day extravaganza. September 1 through 3.

If there were ever a reason to attend a convention, SacAnime and its myriad on-site events should be more than enough impetus. Gaming sessions will be commandeered by CCG Gaming and Tabletop Gaming while interactive gatherings will be hosted by Cafe Hoshi and Naughty Nerd Cabaret. Additionally, there will be anime music video, art, manga contests, countless vendors, and lots of great people watching opportunities.

This particular installment features voice personality Chris Jane (New Tales From The Borderlands, Resident Evil 4), animator Don Bluth (The Secret of NIMH, An American Tail, The Land Before Time, and Anastasia), comic artist Tony Fleecs, Tom Kenny (SpongeBob SquarePants, Adventure Time, Spyro), Toshio Meada (La Blue Girl, Adventure Kid, Demon Beast Invasion, Demon Warrior Koji, rotsukidōji), Dan Southworth (voice and motion capture for Vergil in Devil May Cry 3: Dante’s Awakening, Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition and Devil May Cry 5), and much more.

Be sure to wear the costume of your favorite character and expect some outlandish costumes from some of your favorite anime productions. Although you won’t get a discount on your admission, the memories and images at all SacAnime productions will last a lifetime.

Tickets can be purchased at www.sacanime.com in advance. Friday and Sunday admission is $25 while Saturday is $35. Tickets are $5 more day of event. See website for start and end times as they vary by day. Children under 11 are free. SAFE Credit Union Convention Center is located at 1400 J Street in Sacramento.
