A Heavy Loss: BRENT HINDS, Former Mastodon Frontman, Has Died

Authorities have confirmed that William Brent Hinds, former lead guitarist of the renowned heavy metal band Mastodon, died overnight in Georgia.

According to the Atlanta Police Department, Hinds was riding a Harley Davidson on Wednesday night when he was struck by a BMW whose driver failed to yield while turning at the intersection of Memorial Drive and Boulevard.

The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office has confirmed Hinds’ death.via Atlanta News First
