The Fallback stormed into Goldfield on October 7, delivering a punk-rock performance packed with raw energy, relentless movement, and enough high-flying antics to keep the crowd buzzing. These Sacramento locals brought far more than volume to the stage—they brought an infectious intensity that spread throughout the room, transforming the set into a full-blown punk-rock celebration.

“Punk Rock Radio” emerged as a standout moment, with fans singing along and adding their voices to the band’s explosive performance. Singer and guitarist Chris Scott commanded the stage with fiery vocals and driving guitar work, while guitarist and vocalist Daniel Poppers unleashed his own brand of punk-rock attitude and flair. Bassist and backing vocalist Chris Chase and drummer and backing vocalist Patrick Tice completed the lineup, keeping the music charging forward with a powerful, hard-hitting foundation.

But the music was only part of the spectacle. The Fallback weren’t content to stay planted onstage. Chris Scott, Daniel Poppers, and Chris Chase repeatedly took flight, launching themselves into the air with the kind of reckless enthusiasm that perfectly matched the band’s high-octane sound. Blink at the wrong moment, and you might miss another airborne moment. Scott and Chase even shared an unforgettable jump, but if there were an award for the highest leap of the night, my vote would undoubtedly go to Chase!

Having seen The Fallback perform before, I can say their combination of punchy punk-rock, nonstop stage movement, and genuine audience connection continues to make them a band worth catching live. They don’t simply perform for the crowd—they pull everyone into the action, creating the kind of electric atmosphere that makes live punk rock so exhilarating.

If you haven’t checked out The Fallback yet, now’s the time! Give these Sacramento punk-rockers a follow, crank up their music, and catch them at an upcoming show. With their explosive sound, energetic stage presence, and gravity-defying antics, The Fallback prove that punk rock is alive, loud, and ready to take flight.
