Destruction and Krisiun performed at the DNA Lounge in San Francisco on April 1, 2014, as part of a co-headlining North American tour. The show featured support from Exmortus and Hemotoxin.
We caught up backstage at the legendary DNA Lounge with Alex Camargo of Krisiun following a crushing set in San Francisco. Fresh off the stage, Camargo was in high spirits, reflecting on the show, life on the road, and the band’s uncompromising ethos.
“It feels good—great show tonight,” he said. “San Francisco is always good to us. We love playing here.”
Not every tour stop comes easy, though. Camargo recalled a previous run that fell apart when Hypocrisy canceled at the last minute. But for Krisiun, backing out isn’t an option.
“If we’re booked, we’re doing it. No excuses,” he said plainly. “We love being on the road. That’s what we do.”
