The demented duo TWIZTID are celebrating Halloween with their craziest video yet – the highly-anticipated “Sickman” video sequel, “A Place In The Woods”. The video is a short-film slasher feature – make sure to grab your popcorn and a buddy because you won’t want to be alone for this one!
“A Place In The Woods” stars none other than the original “Sickman” Kane Hodder, also recognized worldwide as portraying Jason in the majority of the Friday the 13thfilms (7, 8, 9 and 10), and legendary actor Sid Haig, best known for his roles as Captain Spaulding in Rob Zombie’s House of 1,000 Corpses and The Devil’s Rejects. The short-film also stars Majik Ninja Entertainment artist Blaze Ya Dead Homie.
The script for the video was written by Jamie Madrox and is directed by Ryan Archibald, also known for directing many of TWIZTID‘s music videos such as “HAHAHAHAHA”, “Down With Us”, “A Little Fucked Up”, and “Breakdown”. Make-up for the video was spearheaded by Tate Steinsiek of SyFy‘s Face Off fame.
TWIZTID have often toed into the world of horror films over the course of the last several years, and “A Place In The Woods” is just one step further into the horror film world for Madrox and Monoxide. “This video is another successful step closer to making horror films! Buckle up because the ride has just begun,” states Monoxide.
Madrox adds, “It gives me chills when I watch it… This is the closest thing to a horror movie we have filmed to date…”
In fact, TWIZTID is currently in the midst of writing a full-length horror film now – stay tuned for more information coming in the future on this project.
