(August 14, 2019, Emeryville, CA) Pirates Press Records is thrilled to announce their pinnacle event on Saturday, October 19th. The
Rock the Ship Festival takes place on the USS Hornet Aircraft Carrier in Alameda, CA.
The stacked lineup includes Cock Sparrer, Subhumans, Street Dogs, Off With Their Heads, Monster Squad, The Drowns and Territories.
Weekend passes include admittance to the Rock the Ship Festival, and all the Starline Social Club shows which kick off on Thursday, October 17th. Individual tickets are not for sale for the Starline Social Club performances.
Skippy, founder of Pirates Press and Pirates Press Record had this to say about the event: “We have been planning Pirates Press’ 15th-anniversary celebration for well over a year, and could not be more excited for October! Five years ago, hosting the first “Rock The Ship“ on the streets of San Francisco was unbelievable! To make this year’s festivities even bigger and better, and more memorable, we couldn’t think of anything more appropriate than hosting it on an actual SHIP. Having three thousand of our closest friends and seven of our favorite bands partying together on the deck of a historic Bay Area aircraft carrier museum, with the backdrop that the city skyline and bridges provide, is going to make this a truly spectacular celebration! … not to mention the other (seven) incredible gigs that we have carefully curated to make this a weekend to remember!”
